Terms of Service
Applicable to all participants of the 6th ASUP International Conference. Last updated 4 August 2026.
1. Registration
Registration is confirmed only after full payment is received and verified by the conference secretariat. Registration details must be accurate; a participant badge and certificate are issued in the name supplied at registration.
2. Fees and payment
All fees are stated in Nigerian Naira and are exclusive of bank or gateway charges. Early-bird rates apply only to payments received on or before the published deadline.
3. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to asup@akwaibompoly.edu.ng at least fourteen days before the conference. Approved refunds are issued less an administrative charge. No refunds are made for no-shows.
4. Paper submissions
By submitting a paper you confirm the work is original and that you hold the rights to it. Accepted papers may be published in the conference proceedings.
5. Conduct
Participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully. The organisers may withdraw access from any participant whose conduct disrupts the event, without refund.
6. Changes to the programme
The organisers may amend the programme, speakers or venue where necessary. Material changes are communicated to registered participants by email.
7. Media
Photography and recording take place during the conference. By attending you consent to your image appearing in conference and ASUP promotional material.
